Power Jack (DC Jack) Repair

The laptops power jack otherwise know as DC Jack is an extremely fragile component and for this reason it is probably the most commonly damaged part of a laptop. DC jack can become damaged when too much pressure is applied to the charger when the charger is plugged into the jack. Most often the charger itself isn’t damaged as the laptops power jack sits directly on the motherboard which is unable to take any force.
