Hints and Tips
Do not apply excessive amounts. As an indication use the following tip.... apply white compound to the top of the processor and then swipe the area with a straight plastic, something like a credit card. This will give you an idea of the optimum amount of heat transfer paste which should be applied. Using this heat transfer paste will safeguard against the processor overheating by transferring the heat up into the fan for dissipation. This is most important in heavy demand computing
